At Camp Settoga we are thoughtful about food—where it is sourced, how it is prepared, and ensuring a healthy variety of foods are provided to campers throughout the summer. Our child-centered approach provides nutritious and balanced kid-friendly meals and snacks, while also introducing fresh fruits and vegetables harvested from our camp garden.
All food at camp is trans-fat free, kosher, and responsibly sourced. Gluten-free options are always available and our camp team aims to provide allergy friendly options for all campers. Camp Settoga is also a peanut and tree nut-aware environment.
Lunch is served family style* among campers and staff, which creates a sense of community at the table and allows campers to practice skills in hospitality, passing, and serving. Our counselors gently encourage campers to try new foods, make healthy choices, and stay hydrated.
